Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced estimator to lead self-perform drywall estimates for SPO projects in Pittsburgh. You will prepare detailed takeoffs, assess risks, perform value engineering, and contribute to GMP discussions with preconstruction teams.

Requirements include a 6+ year track record in estimating specialty scopes, a related bachelor’s degree, strong knowledge of contract documents, and proficiency with BIM, takeoff software, and MS Office. Travel limited.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of detailed estimating experience for drywall and related scopes.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Strong ability to read contracts, drawings, specs and schedules.
• Proficient in BIM, quantity take-off and estimating software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct estimating activities for Self-Perform Operations (SPO) drywall scopes on large projects.
• Prepare detailed estimates, quantity take-offs, and studies for budget and GMP.
• Develop labor rates, vendor relationships, and value engineering options.
• Coordinate with preconstruction managers and supply chain for bids and GMP documents.
• Utilize BIM for take-off and visualization to support complete estimates.
