Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced estimator for Self-Perform Operations (SPO) drywall on Cleveland-area projects. You will prepare detailed estimates, perform quantity take-offs, and coordinate bid inputs with the Preconstruction team.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant estimating experience, a related degree, and strong proficiency with MS Office and estimating software. Travel is limited, and the work is on-site at construction sites and offices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of detailed estimates for drywall, framing, ceilings, and related trades.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering/architecture/construction management or equivalent.
• Ability to read contract documents, drawings, specs, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiar with takeoff and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed SPO drywall estimates from drawings and specs.
• Develop labor productivity rates with historical data and project constraints.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships for competitive pricing.
• Prepare drywall bids for Lump Sum, GMP, and Cost Plus contracts.
• Identify design issues and project risks with Preconstruction to resolve.
• Analyze project schedules for sequencing risk and prepare labor-loaded schedules.
• Lead document management for SPO drywall projects and distribute to stakeholders.
• Attend constructability reviews and support communication with project team.
