Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center Technician to determine donor eligibility, collect plasma, and process products. The role emphasizes compliance with FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, and GMP, while delivering excellent donor service.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a short period of clerical or customer service experience. Training is provided, and the center follows strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
• Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required.
• Strong customer service skills, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions and manuals required.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility by evaluating vitals and testing per SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations to maintain standards.
• Provide high level donor service and positive donor experience.
• Set up and operate plasmapheresis equipment and respond to alarms/adverse events.
• Maintain accurate records and confidentiality in line with SOPs.
