Job summary

Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center Technician to determine donor eligibility, collect plasma, and process products in a compliant, customer-service oriented environment.

The role requires strict adherence to FDA SOPs, OSHA guidelines, CLIA and GMP standards, and the ability to work varying shifts, including weekends. Training is provided, with benefits such as health insurance, HSA, FSA, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3 months experience in clerical or customer service preferred.
• Certification/licensing as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and monitor donor conditions.
• Perform plasma collection and processing following SOPs.
• Set up and operate plasmapheresis equipment and respond to alarms.
• Maintain donor confidentiality and high service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper disposal of biohazardous waste.
• Recordkeeping in compliance with SOPs.
• Quality control on equipment and adherence to regulations.
• Perform duties including packing shipments and handling samples.
• Assist with safety and product quality oversight.
