Octapharma Plasma, Inc. is seeking a Donor Center Technician to determine donor eligibility, collect plasma, and process products while maintaining compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes excellent donor service, confidential handling of donor information, and careful operation of plasmapheresis equipment with safety as a priority. Training and benefits accompany full-time employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Three (3) months' experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
• Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility and collect plasma while ensuring compliance with state, federal, and industry regulations.
• Maintain high levels of customer service, donor confidentiality, and donor experience.
• Set up, operate automated plasmapheresis equipment; respond to alarms and disconnect donors when finished.
• Perform plasma collection and processing with proper handling and shipping in SOP-compliant manner.
• Monitor temperatures, maintain records, and ensure cleanliness and safe disposal of biohazardous waste.
• Perform quality control on equipment and complete accurate recordkeeping.
• Provide oversight of product safety and quality and respond to adverse donor events.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform routine checks; perform other duties as assigned.
