Job summary

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SCI and access to SAP (as required).
• Hands-on software development experience in DoD or related government environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop software engineering strategies for acquisition, development, and sustainment of software for weapon systems and equipment.
• Translate user requirements into system requirements for software design, development, testing and evaluation.
• Conduct assessments of DoD contractor software deliveries for aircraft/test equipment.
• Analyze software performance deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Audit DoD contractor software configuration and control measures and verify quality accreditation.
• Evaluate contractor proposed design changes and perform systems analyses and trade-off studies.
• Review system design and interoperability requirements; participate in system, subsystem, and component testing.
