Job summary

Leidos Defense Group seeks an experienced Project Network Engineer to design, implement and oversee end-to-end network solutions across DoD environments at JB Andrews, JBAB, and the Pentagon. You will lead architecture design, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure security compliance across the network fabric.

The role requires DoD security clearances, Cisco and RMF/STIGs experience, and strong communication skills to support DoD customers and programs in Maryland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience or Master’s with 6+ years may be accepted in lieu
• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Active CCNA Certification (8140)
• Active CompTIA Security+ or CCNP Security (8140)
• Strong background in end-to-end network architecture
• Experience in DoD/federal environments

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and lead network engineering on assigned projects
• Develop detailed network designs and architectures aligned with DoD standards
• Collaborate with system engineers, project managers and stakeholders for delivery
• Maintain documentation of configurations, installations and changes
• Ensure compliance with DoD policies, RMF, STIGs and accreditation standards
• Coordinate with procurement to source network hardware and software
