Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Data Center Network Engineer to support AFNCR IT Services. Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining core data center gear, documenting rack layouts, and enforcing security with Cisco DNA Center, ISE, F5 LTM/GTM, and HAIPE encryption.

Required are a DoD Secret clearance, DoD 8140 IAT II/III baseline certs, and advanced Cisco/Firewall certifications. You will work on-site at Joint Base Andrews, MD, ensuring uptime and mission success.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II or III baseline certs (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, CISSP).
• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6 years; additional experience may substitute for degree.
• Professional-level network certifications (CCNA/CCNP Enterprise, F5-CA or equivalent).
• Experience configuring/troubleshooting enterprise-grade Cisco switches/routers; DNA Center, ISE, and F5 LTM/GTM experience.
• RSA Auth Manager administration and MFA across secure enclaves.
• TACLANE HAIPE configuration and troubleshooting; DISA STIGs familiarity.
• IPv6 configuration and network automation (Python/Ansible) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage, deploy, configure, and maintain core data center hardware (switches/routers).
• Maintain precise rack layouts, port maps, and asset tracking databases.
• Utilize Cisco Catalyst Center and ISE for policy enforcement and device profiling.
• Configure Cisco Nexus switches and F5 LTM/GTM for high availability.
• Deploy MFA with RSA Auth Manager and manage HAIPE encryption units.
• Monitor performance with SNMP/Cacti; support IPTV multicast over LAN.
• Develop SOPs for data center ops aligned with DoD directives and safety rules.
• Coordinate with DISA and 26 NOS for outages and rapid resolution.
