Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Technical Training Senior Director to design and implement a company-wide technical training program, leading a team of training professionals to standardize training across the fleet. Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience creating technical training and leading a team in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Science or Education/Development.
• Experience in manufacturing with knowledge of training technical and non-technical subjects.
• Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to speak in large group settings.
• LEAN methodologies to determine root causes and develop plans.
• Ability to implement training programs and strategic planning for future demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide curricula development support; build site training capabilities via train-the-trainer approach.
• Monitor learning maturity and drive continuous improvement of training systems.
• Lead a team of training and knowledge management professionals.
• Own technical training for operations and maintenance technicians.
• Maintain compliant, safe, and standardized role-based training.
• Develop immersive, simulative training methods to accelerate knowledge transfer.
• Ensure learning objectives tie to business outcomes with clear metrics.
• Collaborate with enterprise and site leads to ensure consistent training application.
• Create training materials for plant employees.
• Coordinate content with subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Analyze operations to identify training needs and develop programs.
• Interface with groups for regulatory training, reporting and inspections.
• Translate policies into training materials with QA.
• Maintain connections between SMEs and training leads; stay current on industry trends.
• Create standard work for safety, environmental, technical and procedural training.
• Manage the GPiLEARN+ LMS; generate reports and manage licensing.
• Develop and track on-the-job technical training for new roles.
• Monitor department training activities and coordinate with area teams.
• Maintain liaisons with supported areas and other sites.
• Write and update job aids and training documents.
• Support regional training specialists in departmental/site training.
• Update curricula and course materials as needed.
• Provide oversight to regional specialists and conduct performance reviews.
• Develop improved training content and delivery methods.
• Serve as a training resource for projects and process/equipment implementation.
• Stay up to date with training authoring software and delivery tech.
