Job summary
Zimmer Biomet seeks a visionary leader to head the Service Systems Engineering organization across Robotics, Surgical, Sports Medicine and Neurologic portfolios. You will drive strategy, governance, and service readiness from development through launch, aligning with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Field Service teams.
The role emphasizes NPD, design controls, and lifecycle support, with a focus on ROSA Robotics and Monogram platforms to ensure superior serviceability and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
- 6+ years of relevant experience in service/medical device engineering.
- Experience leading technical or engineering teams.
- Experience with NPD, design controls, and product lifecycle management.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Service Systems Engineering organization across Robotics, Surgical, Sports Medicine, and Neurologic portfolios.
- Establish service engineering strategy, standards, and governance to support growth and customer needs.
- Provide executive leadership for ROSA Robotics and Monogram platforms, ensuring service readiness.
- Integrate service requirements early in product development with R&D and Product Development.
- Lead service readiness for new products and software releases, including documentation and training.
