Palo Alto Networks seeks a Senior Director in the Identity Field Technology office to spearhead the global technical sales strategy for identity solutions. You will work directly with customers, partners, and internal teams to construct compelling solutions, strengthen our thought leadership, and drive our technical go-to-market strategy.

This role requires significant time with customer leaders to inspire confidence in our market leadership, with a regional focus on the US West.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience.
• Deep experience in identity and access management, privileged access management, and machine identity security.
• Leadership across professional services, technical sales, field sales, or strategic overlay focusing on large, complex customers.
• Proven experience as a dynamic presenter, with the ability to tailor communication to C-level and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders at strategic customers and partners.
• Identify industry trends and gaps to inform product management and prioritization.
• Create technical selling assets like executive briefs, use cases, and demonstration guidance.
• Collaborate with GTM teams to prioritize industry-specific capabilities and drive market strategy.
• Enable the technical sales team in IT trends, solutions, and roadmap discussions.
• Map potential ISV partners to target reference architectures and use cases.
• Lead EBC technical and roadmap discussions with stakeholders.
• Contribute to industry webinars, conferences, and blogs.
