You will build executive relationships and translate market insights into a targeted plan, coordinating with internal experts to advance manufacturing opportunities.

The role requires extensive experience in pharma/biotech markets, a strong network across North America, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

15+ years professional experience in senior business development or commercial leadership.
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CDMO/CMO, fine chemicals or custom manufacturing markets.
Ability to open doors, develop strategic accounts and secure high‑value opportunities in North America.

Responsibilities

Shape and drive the regional business development agenda for North America, focusing on Big Pharma and biotech accounts.
Build trusted executive- and senior-level relationships with strategic pharma and biotech customers.
Translate market intelligence into a focused business development strategy aligned with HQ.
Identify, qualify and advance custom manufacturing opportunities with internal experts and customer stakeholders.
Provide guidance to Junior Sales Manager(s) to ensure coordinated market coverage and high-quality customer approach.
Represent LANXESS SALTIGO at meetings, conferences and networking events to generate new business leads.
