LANXESS Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Director of Business Development NORAM to lead expansion of its custom manufacturing business across North America, with direct access to Big Pharma and biotech accounts.

You will shape the regional growth agenda, build strategic partnerships, and open new opportunities in chemical synthesis, process development, scale-up and contract manufacturing for non-GMP products.

Qualificações

Degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacology, or a comparable field.
Three to five years of professional experience and proven track records in the pharmaceutical industry required, including CDMO exposure.
Proven success in new business acquisition across North America.
Strong networking, communication, market analysis, and competitive intelligence skills.
Frequent business travel will be required

Responsabilidades

Identify, approach, and qualify new customers and project opportunities in defined pharmaceutical and biotechnology segments.
Build market intelligence, account maps, and target lists for North America.
Develop customer relationships and advance opportunities through technical and commercial evaluation.
Cooperate with the pharma sales and marketing team to maximize customer acquisition
Identify opportunities for commercialization in adjacent custom manufacturing and catalog products
Maintain accurate CRM data, visit reports, opportunity tracking, and pipeline documentation.
Strengthen market visibility through relevant trade fairs, conferences, and seminars.
