Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Senior Director for its Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) Tech Services M&A practice. The role leads large, complex engagements to design and implement IT and business transformation for private equity clients and their portfolio companies.

The team focuses on pre-deal technology diligence, post-acquisition integration, ERP and IT governance, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional consulting or relevant industry experience.
• Minimum of five years specializing in systems implementations, merger integration, and change management.
• Extensive experience with private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, or related transaction work.
• Deep functional expertise in IT merger integration, ERP, supply chain, or IT transformation.
• Experience designing and leading change management and advisory initiatives with C-suite executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex engagements for private equity clients and portfolios.
• Oversee Day-1 and 100-day planning, ERP and back-office integration initiatives.
• Direct IT operations, cost reduction, and enterprise architecture efforts.
• Coach and develop delivery teams, manage staffing and recruitment.
• Engage with private equity partners and portfolio executives to drive results.
