Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Senior Director for PEPI - Tech Services M&A to lead complex client engagements for private equity clients and their portfolio companies, focusing on IT diligence, integration, and post‑acquisition optimization.

You will drive Day‑1 and 100‑day planning, oversee ERP, back‑office, supply chain, BI reporting improvements, and partner with C‑suite executives and deal partners to deliver measurable performance gains.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of professional consulting or relevant industry experience, with at least five years in systems implementations, merger integration, business transformation, and change management.
• Extensive experience with private‑equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and transaction or merger integration projects.
• Demonstrated track record working with C-suite executives and private‑equity deal and operating partners.
• Prior strategy and change‑management experience; advisory background from a top‑tier strategy firm, leading specialist firm, or Big‑4 consultancy.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre‑acquisition IT diligence across systems, infrastructure, architecture, development lifecycle, budgeting, and organizational assessment.
• Manage interim IT operations and oversee Day‑1 and 100‑day planning, ensuring performance improvement in ERP, back‑office, supply chain, BI/reporting, and customer/channel management.
• Ensure high‑quality deliverables and maintain strong relationships with teams and stakeholders.
• Co‑coach and develop staff, participate in recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership support to delivery teams.
