Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in the United States is seeking a Director for Tech Services M&A within its PEPI practice. You will lead large, complex client engagements, designing and implementing technology and business solutions for private equity clients and their portfolio companies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional consulting or relevant industry experience, with a minimum of five years specializing in systems implementations, merger integration, business transformation, and change management
• Extensive experience working for or with private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, or related transaction/merger integration experience
• Deep functional expertise in one or more areas: Private Equity Advisory; IT merger integration and carve-out; Business/IT transformation program management (e.g., ERP); Change management and communications; IT operations; Enterprise architecture; IT assessment and strategy development

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex client engagements identifying, designing, and implementing creative business and technology solutions for private equity clients and their portfolio companies
• Pre-acquisition IT diligence assignments focusing on ERP, WMS/CRM, IT infrastructure, architecture, and personnel assessment
• Interim IT management; Day-1 and Day-100 planning and execution; drive performance improvement in ERP, back office, supply chain, BI, and customer/channel management
• Oversee deliverables quality and manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance
• Develop people through coaching, staffing input, and leadership support for delivery teams in local offices
