Job summary

AbsenceSoft University is growing its education platform for customers, partners, and employees, and we’re seeking a Senior Director, Customer Education who will set the direction for training and certification while contributing hands-on content.

Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer and leading a small, growing team, you’ll blend strategic oversight with individual contribution, ensuring content quality, compliance, and alignment with product releases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in customer education, training, or L&D with team management.
• Experience building or scaling training or certification functions at a B2B SaaS/tech company.
• Hands-on LMS work from course design to reporting with platforms like Skilljar/Docebo/Absorb and CRM integration.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and content roadmap for AbsenceSoft University and develop courses/certifications.
• Own the certification program end-to-end including exam design, renewal tracking, and compliance review.
• Hire, coach, and manage a small team with a high performance bar.
• Collaborate with compliance to reflect current leave and accommodations law in content.
• Partner with Product to keep training current with new features and enable customers.
• Oversee the learning platform and its integration with internal systems and SSO.
• Report program health and escalate risks or delays to leadership.
• Represent AbsenceSoft in industry and partner conversations on leave and accommodations education.
