Job summary

AbsenceSoft is seeking a Senior Director, Customer Education to shape the strategy and roadmap for AbsenceSoft University. You will lead the certification program from design to renewal, while managing a small team and ensuring content reflects current leave and accommodations laws.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in customer education, training, or L&D, including managing a team.
• Proven track record building or scaling a training or certification function at a B2B SaaS/tech company.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end certification programs and vendor management.
• Experience running an LMS (course design, reporting) with platforms like Skilljar/Docebo/Absorb, and integrating with Salesforce or CRM.
• Depth in leave and accommodations compliance (FMLA, ADA, state programs) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and content roadmap for AbsenceSoft University, turning priorities into fully developed courses and certifications.
• Own end-to-end certification program: exam design, renewal tracking, and compliance reviews.
• Hire, coach, and manage a small team with high standards for performance and accountability.
• Collaborate with compliance to ensure content reflects current leave laws.
• Partner with Product to keep training aligned with new features and enable customers.
• Oversee learning platform and its integration with internal systems and SSO for employees and customers.
• Report program health and escalate risks or delays to leadership.
• Represent AbsenceSoft in industry conversations related to leave and accommodations education.
