Job summary

AbsenceSoft University seeks a Senior Director of Customer Education to set the direction for training and certification programs. You will lead content strategy, define the roadmap, and personally contribute as a hands-on leader.

You will hire and grow a small team, collaborate with Compliance and Product, and oversee the learning platform with secure, integrated systems. A focus on leave compliance and vendor management is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in customer education, training, or L&D, including team leadership.
• Proven track record building or scaling training/certification at a B2B SaaS/tech company.
• Comfort managing certification programs end-to-end: exam design, renewal tracking, vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and roadmap for AbsenceSoft University; develop courses and certifications.
• Own certification program end-to-end; review compliant content.
• Hire, coach, and manage a small team with high standards.
• Collaborate with compliance to reflect leave/accommodations law.
• Partner with Product to keep training current as features ship.
• Oversee learning platform and SSO integration for employees and customers.
• Report program health to leadership and escalate risks.
• Represent AbsenceSoft in industry discussions on leave and accommodations education.
• Support security and compliance controls across the role and team.
