Flagship Pioneering is seeking a Senior Director of Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) Formulation & Process Development to lead the LNP formulation, process development, and small-scale production supporting partner and internal programs. You will shape development strategies and build scalable capabilities.

The role requires hands-on scientific leadership, proven team development, and strong collaboration with clients, Translational Biology, Project Management, and other functions to advance multiple

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with 12+ years of industry experience; MS with 14+ years; or BS with 16+ years.
• Extensive hands-on experience in LNP formulation and process development.
• Strong leadership of scientific teams and multiple programs.
• Excellent written, verbal, and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead LNP formulation, process development, and small-scale production.
• Set technical strategy for formulation, process development, and production.
• Provide senior technical leadership across programs and client interfaces.
• Oversee non-GMP production for preclinical studies.
• Drive troubleshooting, optimization, and technology transfer.
