Job summary

247Hire seeks a Scientist 1 to join the Formulation team. You will execute and optimize the synthesis of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for nucleic acid delivery, working with senior scientists in a hands-on laboratory setting.

Responsibilities include DoE-based screening, cross-functional collaboration, and supporting early-stage development with careful data documentation and analysis. A strong background in LNPs and biopharma is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of biopharma industry experience or 1+ year with a Master's.
• Hands-on experience in LNP formulation and encapsulation of nucleic acids.
• Experience with LNP characterization methods (DLS, zeta potential, Ribogreen).
• Strong data analysis and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute and optimize formulation and characterization of LNPs for in vitro/in vivo studies under supervision.
• Implement DoE-based screening campaigns to optimize LNP compositions and processing parameters.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to fulfill formulation requests.
• Support early-stage formulation development including scale-up and stability studies.
• Maintain detailed records of formulation activities and results.
• Analyze, interpret, and present experimental data to the team.
• Contribute to routine lab management including inventory and buffer preparation.
