Job summary

S&B USA Construction in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Director of Business Development to identify and secure large-scale infrastructure opportunities, especially through Alternative Delivery and P3 models. You will lead market intelligence, client and partner development, and pursuit strategies to grow a multi-billion-dollar project portfolio.

The role requires 10–15 years in infrastructure BD, a strong network, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams, negotiate contracts, and deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Business, or a related field.
• PE, MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.
• 10-15 years of experience in business development within infrastructure, construction, or P3 markets.
• Track record leading high-value infrastructure projects (> $100M CapEx).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute BD strategies aligned with growth objectives and industry trends.
• Identify and pursue high-value opportunities, focusing on projects > $100M.
• Maintain CRM records (Salesforce) to track opportunities and trends.
• Build and maintain client, designer, contractor, and owner relationships.
• Lead due diligence, including financial analysis and risk review.
• Oversee prequalification, SOQs, and proposal development; collaborate with estimators and operations.
