Job summary

S&B USA Construction seeks an experienced leader to drive pursuits for major infrastructure programs in the U.S. East with responsibility for coordinating pre-construction, design and estimating teams from Charlotte, NC.

The role focuses on securing DB, CMGC and P3 projects, managing contracts and partner relations. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in alternative delivery, a proven track record on $500M+ projects, and deep knowledge of scheduling tools (MS Project/Primavera) and HCSS;

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in alternative delivery projects with increasing responsibility.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects ($500M+).
• Experience with Alternative Delivery methods such as DB, CMGC, Progressive DB, and P3.
• Strong understanding of design development, construction estimating, and construction methods.
• Experience with scheduling software (Microsoft Project, P-6).
• Knowledge of HCSS and civil project field experience.
• Ability to travel as needed for projects.
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
• Experience with state DOTs is highly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pursuit effort for large-scale infrastructure projects, coordinating pre-construction, design, and estimating teams.
• Develop and submit technical and price proposal documents.
• Manage project contracts with owners, design, and construction partners.
• Oversee project risks and opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with internal teams, developers, stakeholders, and design consultants to ensure project success.
• Actively participate in meetings with owners, developers, partners, and subcontractors.
• Manage project pursuit development, resource planning, and budgeting.
