Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a senior sales leader to establish and manage an effective business development program across multiple U.S. locations.

You will direct a sales team, drive opportunities from identification to contract awards, and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders and IQVIA leadership. The role requires 15+ years in CRO services sales, including 5 years of management, with strong biotech networks, strategic insight, and superb negotiation/presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management is required.
• 15+ years CRO services sales experience, including 5 years of management responsibility.
• Proven track record developing biotech contacts.
• Strategic business awareness and industry trend translation.
• Understanding of drug discovery and development.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
• Excellent MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Ability to influence internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a business development program to maximize growth.
• Direct sales activities from identification through contract award.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior levels in customer org and IQVIA.
• Lead a sales team within territory following policies and laws.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; manage performance and development.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify personnel for proposal meetings.
• Participate in proposal preparation and defense meetings as needed.
• Travel up to 40% to engage markets and opportunities.
