Job summary

IQVIA in the United States is seeking a seasoned sales professional to secure and retain business within clinical sponsors. You will conduct consultative, proactive sales activities aimed at decision-makers, developing plans and strategies to win opportunities.

You will build long‑term relationships, coordinate with contracts and proposals, and coordinate with IQVIA operations to deliver compelling presentations and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management.
• 12 years related experience, including 5 years in CRO/pharmaceutical sales.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Proven track record with mid- to high-level contacts.
• Excellent industry awareness and understanding of trends.
• Strong commercialization knowledge and drug development concepts.
• Advanced analytical skills for interpreting customer data.
• Able to meet demanding timelines and work independently or in a team.
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and pursue new business opportunities within target accounts.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
• Maintain knowledge of IQVIA services for cross-sell opportunities.
• Analyze opportunities and develop sales plans for each target account.
• Coordinate with contracts and proposals to develop proposals.
• Lead sales presentations with operations and management.
• Record all activities in CRM and prepare management reports.
• Serve as liaison between customer and IQVIA technical/operational groups.
