Leidos is seeking a Senior Director, Capture Management in the Defense Sector to lead complex DoD pursuits across key business areas. You will mentor a high-performing capture team and partner with growth and P&L leaders to shape winning strategies and sustained growth.

This player-coach role requires a proven federal capture track record, ability to navigate fast-moving opportunities, and a commitment to ethical standards and customer alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 15+ years leading capture efforts in DoD/federal programs.
• Proven record of success capturing large federal opportunities (>$200M).
• Experience with manufacturing/production or hardware programs and development-to-production transitions.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership for capture management across a portfolio of DoD opportunities.
• Lead and manage a team of capture managers, ensuring adherence to processes and ethics.
• Serve as capture lead or advisor for strategic pursuits and mentoring talent.
• Drive lifecycle activities: qualification, planning, customer engagement, competitive analysis, pricing, teaming, and proposal execution.
• Partner with growth and P&L leaders on pipeline, staffing, and pursuit priority.
• Influence cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and build customer relationships.
• Assess competitive landscapes and teaming options to position Leidos for success.
• Support on-contract growth and follow-on capture opportunities.
