Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Capture Manager in Reston, VA to lead the full BD life-cycle across multiple large pursuits in the Military Services market.

The role requires exceptional capture planning, team leadership, and executive briefing skills, with 15+ years in related fields or 13+ with a Master’s, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Expect up to 50% travel and strong writing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 13+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record leading capture activities in enterprise IT across DoD organizations.
• Experience leading virtual teams and briefing executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop capture plans and lead knowledge gathering on customer requirements.
• Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, and teammates to shape strategy.
• Plan capture activities including gate reviews, workshops, and reviews of proposals.
• Lead competitive assessments, teaming, and price-to-win efforts.
• Support writing of white papers, RFIs, and other artifacts.
• Mentor other program managers in capture management.
• Brief capture status to senior management at milestones and after material changes.
• Travel up to 50% to support customer visits and strategy workshops.
• Contribute to post-award execution readiness.
