Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector seeks a Director Business Development II to shape and execute growth for weapon systems. The role leads capture efforts, builds senior customer relationships, and drives winning strategies aligned with sector objectives.

The position requires 15+ years in defense BD or related fields, with strong strategic and leadership capabilities. Location in northern Virginia preferred, with flexibility for other locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 15+ years in defense business development, capture, or program management.
• Experience with DoD programs, ITAR/compliance, and prime relationships preferred.
• Proven track record leading complex captures and growth initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication; executive-level presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute a comprehensive BD strategy for Weapon Systems Division.
• Lead capture efforts, build robust customer and partner relationships.
• Coordinate with program management and engineering to shape winning solutions.
• Provide leadership to BD and capture teams; mentor and develop talent.
• Deliver regular pipeline status updates to division leadership.
