Northrop Grumman is seeking a Director of Business Development 2 for the Weapon Systems Division to shape and execute growth strategies. The role leads capture, builds customer relationships, and drives winning strategies across multiple programs.

Location preference is northern Virginia with open to other locations. The candidate will manage BD teams, collaborate with program management and engineering, and ensure alignment with sector objectives while pursuing strategic opportunities in DoD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is required.
• 15+ years in business development, capture management, or program management in defense/aerospace.
• Strong government acquisition knowledge and proposal experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive BD and growth strategy for Weapon Systems Division.
• Lead capture, opportunity identification, and qualification across assigned markets.
• Mentor and lead BD and capture teams; align with enterprise gates and processes.
• Engage senior customers and stakeholders; communicate strategy and win themes.
