Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical as part of the National Accounts team. The role is remote with travel up to 50% as needed.

You will shape strategy, manage the Data Center team, build executive relationships with hyperscalers, and coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing. Expect a compensation range of $126,100 to $221,900 annually, depending on skills and location, plus comprehensive benefits and visa sponsorship not

Qualifications

• 10+ years in sales or business development
• 6+ years people leadership experience
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through growth in the data center sector
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators and hyperscalers

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: assess and communicate market intelligence, including market characteristics, trends, and growth potential; Daikin's position among standing and target accounts.
• Strategic Planning: develop and drive business strategy for the Data Center vertical, provide updates to VP and leadership; lead short- and long-term planning.
• Key Customer Planning & Execution: elevate Data Center team professionalism; drive process improvements for customer experience; scale complex Solutions with field, manufacturing, and Rep leadership.
• Stakeholder Coordination: lead implementation of vertical market strategy with internal customers; monitor competitor activity and adapt communications.
• Marketing: collaborate with marketing to determine materials, trade show participation, and visibility; identify speaker events and publishing opportunities.
• Team Management: lead a team of Data Center experts; grow pipeline; hire, train, and coach new headcount.
