Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical within the National Accounts team. You will set vertical strategy, lead a team, and drive growth across executive relationships with data center operators and hyperscalers.

The role is remote with 50% travel. You will collaborate with VP and executive staff, manage a team, and shape long-term plans aligned with Daikin’s business model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years people leadership experience.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through growth in data center sector.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite across data center operators and hyperscalers.

Responsibilities

• Market analysis and communicate market intelligence for data center vertical.
• Develop and drive business strategy for Data Center vertical market.
• Elevate Data Center team professionalism and scale complex solutions with field, manufacturing and rep leadership.
• Lead implementation of vertical market strategy with internal customers including supply chain and product development.
• Collaborate with marketing to plan materials, events, and visibility; identify speaking and publishing opportunities.
• Lead and develop a team of Data Center experts; drive pipeline growth and headcount planning.
