Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical as part of the National Accounts team. This remote role requires travel around 50% and focuses on strategy, growth, and leadership across executives and field teams.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in sales or BD, with 6+ years in people leadership and a proven record of guiding high-performing teams within the data center sector. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development.
• 6+ years of people leadership.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: assess and communicate market intelligence, including market characteristics, trends, growth potential, and competitor positioning.
• Strategic Planning: develop and drive data center vertical market strategy and long-term plans; align with leadership.
• Key Customer Planning & Execution: elevate Data Center team professionalism; scale complex solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Stakeholder Coordination: lead implementation with supply chain, manufacturing, service operations, and product development.
• Marketing: collaborate on materials, trade shows, visibility, and speaking/publishing opportunities.
• Team Management: lead data center experts; grow pipeline, hire and coach headcount, and manage performance.
