Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical within the National Accounts team. The role requires setting vertical strategy and driving profitable growth across executive-level relationships.

The position is remote with travel about 50% and offers a base salary range of $126,100–$221,900 per year, with comprehensive benefits and strong leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development with 6+ years of people leadership.
• Proven history of leading high-performing sales teams through rapid growth in the data center sector.
• Ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators and hyperscalers.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: assess market intelligence and growth potential for Data Center verticals.
• Strategic Planning: develop and drive business strategy and plans; align with leadership.
• Key Customer Planning & Execution: elevate team professionalism and scale complex solutions.
• Stakeholder Coordination: lead internal cross-functional implementation of vertical strategy.
• Marketing: collaborate to determine materials, trade shows, and visibility opportunities.
• Team Management: lead Data Center experts, growth, hiring, and coaching.
