FNBO seeks a Sr. Director, Advanced Data Scientist to lead the data science and modeling function within the Partnership Division.

You will define the multi-year modeling roadmap and oversee advanced ML models for credit decisioning and portfolio management, translating complex results into strategic business guidance. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or PhD with 7+ years in financial services, demonstrates executive presence, and excels at cross-functional leadership, model validation, and

Competenze

• Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field; PhD strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of experience developing statistical or ML models in financial services.
• Strong Python and/or R; strong SQL skills.
• Experience with gradient boosting, ensemble methods, neural networks.
• Experience with model explainability techniques such as SHAP.
• Full model-development lifecycle including deployment and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of credit-risk concepts and consumer lending.

Mansioni

• Define and own multi-year modeling roadmap for credit risk models.
• Lead development of models for credit-card acquisition and underwriting.
• Translate business objectives into modeling frameworks and performance criteria.
• Establish training, validation, and out-of-time testing strategies.
