Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building statistical or ML models in financial services or consumer credit.
• Strong Python or R and SQL skills.
• Experience with gradient boosting and neural networks.
• Experience with credit-risk modeling for consumer lending.

Responsibilities

• Define and own a multi-year modeling roadmap for credit risk acquisition and portfolio management models.
• Independently design and develop advanced ML models for credit card acquisition, underwriting, and account management.
• Lead model-development projects from problem definition to production implementation and monitoring.
• Develop interpretable ML approaches balancing predictive performance with regulatory and business requirements.
