FNBO is seeking a Sr. Director, Advanced Data Scientist to lead the data science and modeling function within the Partnership Division.

The role defines the multi-year modeling roadmap for credit risk acquisition and portfolio management, and oversees development of advanced ML models for credit decisioning. You will work with senior stakeholders to align methodologies, supervise end-to-end model ownership, and drive measurable business impact at scale.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, CS, Mathematics, OR, Econometrics or related field.
• PhD strongly preferred with strong research in ML, statistics, or quantitative finance.

Responsabilités

• Define and own multi-year modeling roadmap for credit risk models.
• Lead model development from problem definition to production.
• Translate business objectives into modeling frameworks, target variables, and performance criteria.
• Apply ML techniques to large credit datasets and evaluate algorithms.
• Communicate modeling strategy and results to senior leaders with executive-ready reporting.
