Job summary

Baillie Gifford in the United States seeks a Director, Consultant Relations to oversee a key US consultant relationship base, partnering with research, OCIO teams and senior consultants to convey the firm’s investment capabilities.

You will work with US and global teams to identify opportunities, shape consultant strategy, and bring market intelligence back to the firm. FINRA 7 and 63 licenses are required within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree preferred for the role.
• Experience and knowledge of investment strategies, portfolios and market developments.
• Proven ability to influence consultant ratings and business opportunities.
• Understanding of the consultant ecosystem and decision-making by institutions.
• Strong collaboration across teams and senior stakeholder management.
• FINRA 7 and 63 licenses required (must be taken within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Oversee designated consultant relationships and build strategic plans.
• Maintain high standards of consultant relations, including regular contact and reporting.
• Expand investment knowledge through research and portfolio discussions.
• Collaborate across internal departments to drive outcomes.
• Identify opportunities with Business Development and investment teams and translate insights into results.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and internal staff development.
