Barings is seeking an experienced Consultant Relations professional to strengthen and expand its relationships with leading U.S. investment consultants.

This senior role focuses on deepening engagement, developing strategic account plans, and driving opportunities across a national coverage area. Reporting to Global Business Development, you will collaborate with Institutional Sales, Product and Investment teams to coordinate a comprehensive consultant engagement strategy and contribute to asset

Qualifications

• 15+ years of related experience in consultant relations or institutional business development within asset management.
• Established relationships with major U.S. investment consulting firms.
• Proven track record of developing senior relationships and translating engagement into ratings or opportunities.
• Strong understanding of the institutional investment landscape and consultant role in manager research.

Responsibilities

• Own senior-level relationships with key investment consulting firms and connect with research teams and decision-makers.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned consulting firms and identify top opportunities.
• Articulate Barings' capabilities, differentiation, and value proposition to consultants and clients.
• Drive favorable consultant ratings and manage the full relationship lifecycle including research engagement and updates.
• Identify commercial opportunities within consultant rosters and coordinate with Institutional Sales to pursue them.
