Synchrony is seeking an AVP, Compliance Governance and Reporting Lead to drive the effectiveness and ongoing enhancement of the Compliance Program’s governance, risk reporting, metric oversight, and management reporting routines. The role oversees governance for key committees and supports senior leadership with concise, actionable insights.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years in governance, risk, and controls.
• Experience managing governance, risk reporting, program management, or executive reporting in a regulated financial environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication for governance docs and leadership reporting.
• Experience using risk/compliance tools (eGRC, SharePoint/Teamsites, Tableau) and MS Office suite.
• Ability to travel for business as required.

Responsabilidades

• Own and enhance Compliance governance routines and senior management forums; prepare agendas and decision-ready materials.
• Synthesize complex risk info into concise executive-level reporting for leadership and risk committees.
• Oversee risk appetite and KRI reporting; ensure metric quality and standards alignment.
• Manage the Compliance Program Master Schedule; enable automation and reduced manual tracking.
• Execute controls to validate regulatory inventory integrity and remediation.
• Coordinate regulatory examinations and audits; track commitments and communicate program status.
• Drive continuous improvement of governance, reporting, and analytics via Tableau, Excel, and automation.
• Engage stakeholders across Compliance Risk, Legal, Internal Audit, and first line of defense.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
