Job summary

CVS Health Digital is hiring a Lead Director - Digital Engineering to own the strategy, modernization, delivery, and operation of customer identity platforms across Health100, Caremark, Specialty, Retail, and Health Services. You will lead multiple teams, drive cloud-native, API-first identity solutions, and ensure secure, scalable customer experiences at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, platform engineering, CIAM, or related tech domains.
7+ years of people leadership, including engineering managers and senior managers.
5+ years in cloud-native transformation, API-first architectures, and platform engineering.
Strong understanding of CIAM, authentication, authorization, customer profile services, and identity security.
Budget, vendor, and workforce planning experience with tech investments.
Proven delivery of critical platforms with availability, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities

Lead a multi-team engineering organization for authentication services, profile management, identity integrations, and platform operations.
Advance scalable, cloud-native, API-first identity capabilities while ensuring secure customer experiences.
Drive AI-enabled transformations and execution strategies.
Identify and manage cross-workstream dependencies and risks; report status to stakeholders.
Build relationships with Product, Security, Architecture, Infrastructure and Business partners to support the roadmap.
