Job summary

CVS Health Digital is seeking a Lead Director - Digital Engineering to drive strategy, modernization, delivery, and operation of customer identity platforms at scale across Health100, Caremark, Specialty, Retail, and new digital experiences.

You will partner with Product, Security, Architecture and Business teams to advance cloud-native, API-first identity solutions, ensuring security, availability and strong operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering or platform engineering experience.
• 7+ years in people leadership, including engineering managers and senior managers.
• 5+ years driving cloud-native transformation and API-first practices.
• Strong CIAM and identity security knowledge across platforms.
• Experience managing budgets, vendor partnerships and tech investments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-team engineering org for authentication, profile, identity integrations and platform operations.
• Advance cloud-native, API-first identity capabilities with secure, reliable customer experiences.
• Drive AI-enabled transformations and execution strategies.
• Identify and manage risks and cross-workstream dependencies.
• Own End-to-End Program Plan with timely tracking and reporting.
• Deliver program status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Define, measure and track KPIs tied to business outcomes for identity platforms.
• Build strong partnerships with Business, Product, Technology and vendors to support the roadmap.
