Job summary

CVS Health Digital is hiring a Lead Director - Digital Engineering to shape identity platforms and services for millions of customers across Health100, Caremark, Specialty, and Retail. You will lead strategy, modernization, delivery, and operations of CVS Health's customer identity portfolio.

You will partner with Product, Security, Architecture, and Business teams to advance modernization, security, and operational excellence, delivering identity solutions at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Software Engineering or related technology disciplines.
• 7+ years in people leadership, including engineering managers.
• 5+ years delivering cloud-native, API-first, platform engineering initiatives.
• Strong CIAM, authentication, authorization, and profile services knowledge.
• Experience managing budgets, vendor partnerships, and technology investments.
• Proven track record delivering scalable, highly available platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-team engineering organization for authentication services, profile management, identity integrations, and platform operations.
• Drive scalable, cloud-native, API-first architecture with secure, reliable customer experiences.
• Lead AI-enabled transformations and execution strategies.
• Identify and manage risks and cross-workstream dependencies; End-to-End program planning.
• Define, measure, and report metrics and KPIs to drive business outcomes.
• Build relationships with Business, Product, and Technology partners and vendors.
