Job summary

Essenti Talent, a global company delivering engagement solutions for Fortune 500 clients, is seeking a Director of Business Development in the Boston area. The role is hybrid and requires in-office presence at least three days per week, with the office located in Waltham, MA.

You will lead a team, develop entry strategies for prospective accounts, manage multi-month sales cycles, and drive revenue growth through leveraged commissions and bonuses tied to yearly performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of direct B2B sales experience calling on Fortune 1000 companies.
Clear history of new business development selling professional services.
Large volume sales experience ($250k plus per sale).
Experience with broad range of sales cycles (three to six to twelve months).
History of career stability with a maximum of three jobs in the last ten years.
Compensation derived through highly leveraged commissions and bonuses.
Demonstrated track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads.

Responsibilities

Identify potential accounts, develop an entry strategy, conduct the prospecting campaign, develop relationships and understand the customer’s critical business strategies, then work with a team of subject matter experts to create and execute a solution to achieve the customer’s business objectives.
