Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Director of Business Development in the Greater Boston area for a hybrid role that requires in-office work at least three days a week, with the office in Waltham, MA.

You will identify potential accounts, develop entry strategies, drive prospecting campaigns, build strong relationships, and coordinate with subject-matter experts to create solutions that meet Fortune 1000 client needs and revenue objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of direct B2B sales experience calling on Fortune 1000 companies.
• Clear history of new business development selling professional services.
• Large volume sales experience ($250k plus per sale).
• Experience with broad range of sales cycles (three to six to twelve months).
• History of career stability with a maximum of three jobs in the last ten years.
• Compensation derived through highly leveraged commissions and bonuses.
• Demonstrated track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential accounts, develop an account entry strategy, conduct the prospecting campaign, develop relationships and understand the customer’s critical business strategies, then work with a team of subject matter experts to create and execute a solution to achieve the customer’s business objectives.
