Job summary

Motorola Solutions, through its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Director of Business Development for the U.S. Army.

You will lead long‑term horizon scanning, shape opportunities, and drive multi‑year pursuits, building deep relationships with end‑users, PMs, primes, and OEMs to position MN‑MIMO technology for DoD programs. Remote work eligible, with up to 50% travel for customer engagement and program execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in defense sales.
• 5+ years in defense sales or business development focused on U.S. Army.
• Proven track record of capturing DoD programs.
• Experience with Army Acquisition offices and prime contractors.
• Experience leading all phases of business capture (proposals, RFI/RFP responses).
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-year capture and pursuit for U.S. Army programs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with PEOs/PMs, primes, OEMs, and end-users.
• Influence technical requirements shaping for MC/ MN‑MIMO solutions.
• Manage full lifecycle of long‑cycle pursuits from identification to award.
• Collaborate with MDE and Account Sales for transition of landed programs.
• Monitor market trends and funding priorities to inform capture strategy.
• Travel up to 50% to engage customers and advance goals.
