Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• Prefer experience with IDD individuals.
• At least one year of experience with the population served.
• Must have a valid driver's license including personal vehicle insurance.
• Maintain CPR, First Aid, Med Tech and NCI certifications as required.
• Clinically supervised by a qualified professional per licensure or service rules.
• Proficiency in CPR as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist people supported to identify personal outcomes aligned with interests and culture.
• Identify supports needed for outcomes with the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Promote dignity, respect, and quality of life for people served.
• Provide opportunities for choice and self-determination.
• Report incidents of abuse, neglect, or exploitation immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness of group homes and vehicles, complete work orders.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care as able.
• Support social role development in community settings.
