RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Mentor for a full-time role in Rollingwood, Greensboro, NC. The mentor provides supportive services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health/substance use challenges, acting as a trainer and coach to Direct Support staff, ensuring coverage and quality of care across shifts.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• Prefer experience working with IDD individuals.
• At least one year of experience working with the population served.
• Must have a valid driver’s license including personal vehicle insurance coverage.
• Must maintain CPR and First Aid certifications and other core trainings as required.

Aufgaben

• Assist people supported to identify personal outcomes and engage in activities aligned with their goals.
• Support the Interdisciplinary Team in identifying supports needed for personal outcomes.
• Promote dignity, respect, and quality of life for people supported.
• Encourage choice and self-direction in daily routines and environments.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of group homes and vehicles, and monitor environmental conditions.
