Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Food Service Director to oversee the dining program at a long-term care facility. The role emphasizes high food quality, inventory control, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service.

The position requires coordinating with client managers, maintaining records, and leading a small food service team to ensure safe, sanitary, and compliant operations. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supervising food service staff or team leads preferred.
• Ability to adhere to food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; may serve as dietary aide, cook, or dishwasher as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to staff.
• Ensure safe handling of cleaning solutions and report equipment needs promptly.
• Follow infection control and handwashing procedures to maintain sanitation.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and timely task completion.
• Represent HCSG positively with supervisors, clients, residents, and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
