Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dining program at a long-term care facility. You will supervise the food service team, ensure quality, safety, and compliance with menus and regulations, and maintain records using HCSG software.

The role requires strong communication, prior experience in food service management, and the ability to train staff, manage inventories, and deliver excellent resident dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in food service management or hospitality.
• CDM certification preferred or required by state law.
• Ability to maintain records and report using computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, food supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; perform roles of dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators to HCSG staff.
• Ensure infection control and sanitary operations; monitor safety and equipment needs.
