Eaton's Electrical Critical Power Solutions Division seeks a Specialist Digital Controls and Embedded Software Engineer. Join a global team designing high-power UPS systems and energy storage products, with a hybrid office/remote arrangement within the U.S.

Relocation benefits are provided. You will develop real-time DSP algorithms, create models, and validate designs using simulations and HIL environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8+ years real-time digital controls and power electronics experience.
• MS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years real-time digital controls and power electronics experience.
• PhD in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years real-time digital controls and algorithms experience.

Responsibilities

• Launch critical power infrastructure products meeting customer requirements and Eaton commitments.
• Provide guidance and leadership to cross-functional project teams.
• Collaborate with global development teams to resolve performance, safety, reliability issues.
• Develop mathematical models and DSP control algorithms for power conversion products.
• Verify designs via MATLAB/Simulink simulations and real-time testing (HIL).
• Lead product development using new technologies from Eaton COEs and ERLs.
